About This Event
Step into a moment of wellness and quiet wonder in the heart of the West Village, within a space shaped by creativity, calm, and layered history. Salon d’Art Tea x Plentea Matcha, is a historic townhouse originally built in the 1800s and reimagined in the 1980s by the visionary design collective SITE, embodies New York’s artistic soul. Today, our host, Plentea Matcha, invites you to sit with us in a tranquil ambiance.
Salon d’Art Tea is an intimate monthly Chanoyu gathering led by EunYoung Sebazco—a gentle invitation to pause, reconnect with your senses, and simply be. Each session centers around Plentea’s organic ceremonial matcha, inspired by ichi-go ichi-e (一期一会), the concept of treasuring each encounter as a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Let the scents, flavors, textures, and quiet sounds guide you—one sip, one moment at a time.
