RSVP Eventbrite

Ready to get creative? Join architect and artist Robyn Squires [RYSQ] for a hands-on workshop where you’ll explore the unique combination of concrete and natural dyes.

You’ll learn how to mix and mold concrete, infuse it with beautiful, natural colors from plant-based dyes like indigo and butterfly pea tea, and finish your own bespoke home decor pieces. At the end of the evening, you’ll take home a unique pair of handcrafted concrete candle holders or coasters.

This is a great chance to explore the sensory language of texture and color and create a one-of-a-kind piece for your home.

What You'll Make:

  • A unique, handcrafted concrete pair of coaster or candle holder

  • Want to make more? Additional pieces are available for $10 each.

What to Bring:

  • A sense of adventure!

  • An apron (optional, but a good idea).

What We Provide:

  • All necessary materials, including gloves.

  • Natural dyes, including indigo and butterfly pea tea, to experiment with.

Good to Know:

  • Wear comfortable clothes and you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
