Join us for a hands-on Japanese culinary experience with Chef Mai-san! These simple yet deeply flavorful traditional dishes come to life with high-quality ingredients, adding warmth to your home-cooked meals, picnics, or gatherings.
Chef Mai, a passionate advocate for healthy eating, will guide you step by step in crafting handmade Onigiri, offering a variety of fillings—so you can customize your creation.
She will also bring her rich, Brooklyn-made miso and teach you how to prepare a delicious, plant-based miso soup. After the workshop, we’ll gather for a shared meal, enjoying the Onigiri you’ve made, paired with freshly prepared miso soup, her homemade Tsukemono (Japanese pickles), and authentic Okazu (Japanese everyday side dishes).
